● 1stPrize: Trip to Germany (travel and accommodation costs included) to meet the
engineers at the Porsche Research and Development center in Weissach.
Would you like to be part of the future of Autonomous Driving? Are you enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s
degree at a recognized university in Romania? Are you interested in leading technology and eager to get some practical experience
within the area of software development?
Porsche Engineering Romania SRL and the Technical University of Cluj-Napoca are working together to offer you a great opportunity:
Jointly, we are organizing a student competition related to the topic of Autonomous Driving. Participants will develop a software for an
autonomous model car (scale 1:18) with teams of 3-4 people. In the end, the cars will race on a track and compete in different challenges.
You will have the chance to demonstrate your solution for an autonomously driving vehicle and compete against other teams for the
opportunity to win.

The competition period is four weeks long and starts on April 25th, 2017 with a Kick-Off event including
the accepted teams and the distribution of all information and materials needed in order to accomplish the task. During the four weeks,
the teams will work on their car independently. The competition period ends on May 22nd, 2017 with the handing in of the results.
The competition day will be one day later, on the 23rd of May 2017.
In order to participate in the competition, you must fulfill the following requirements:
● You have to be enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree at any recognized university in Romania.
● It is a team-based competition. Therefore, you have to organize yourself in a team of 3-4 people.
● Every team member has to include an up-to-date CV and the application form including a team name.
There are great prizes waiting for the first, second and third place. Members of the winning team will travel to Germany
and meet the engineers at the research and development center in Weissach and visit the birth place of Porsche for an inside view which is
not available to the public (including traveling and accommodation costs).

Since the number of teams is limited, you have to apply to take part in the competition. Please bear in mind that there are
